The client is a leading Belgium-based interior design house specializing in providing sophisticated, contemporary, and cosmopolitan designs for the retail and real estate industry.

Client's Requirements

The client wanted to add high-quality, customizable, and manipulatable 3D renderings of their furniture pieces in multiple formats to their website. They wanted us to create 10 variations of 500 furniture pieces and wanted us to create the models in the 3ds Max, SketchUp, .obj, and V-Ray formats.

Client's Challenges

There were several challenges, including -

• Accurately representing the fabric texture in the 3D models was one of the biggest challenges. However, we worked closely with the client and obtained detailed information to help us adequately represent the fabric.
• The client wanted us to provide a trial before assigning the entire project to us. We successfully completed the trial.

FWS' Solution

We provided high-quality 3D models that were fully customizable by following this process -

• We produced the first drafts of the models in black and white to present to the client our capability in creating high-quality 3D renders.
• After the client approved the initial designs, we started coloring and texturing 8 sample products. The 8 samples were shown to the client who was satisfied with the quality.
• After getting the go-ahead from the client, we began work on all the 500 furniture pieces in each of the desired output formats.
• We incorporated all the feedback from the client in the final designs and renders.
