The customer is the leading provider of cash management solutions in England. They are an independent global provider of solutions that help customers maintain their reputation, sustain their investment, and increase their efficiency.

The Requirement

The customer was looking for a trusted 3D modeling service provider who could help convert existing SolidWorks legacy data into Creo modeling. They wanted our team to load Creo files with the necessary designer notes and naming conventions into their library.

Project Challenges

Our team of mechanical engineers at Flatworld faced a few challenges during the course of the project. The major challenges were -

• Our team was expected to follow certain design standards as defined in their library

FWS' Solution

The customer provided us with 3D models in SolidWorks format and PDFs for reference. Since the project had a short deadline, we allocated 5 full-time resources to the project. Our team used Creo 4 software to quickly develop the model. We supplied the customer with electrical 3D as well as circuits in PDF format.

We created 2D model components in groups and are planning to deliver the series to the customer library with the appropriate appointment. After the customer had tested and approved the quality of the model, we worked further to create the other models.

The Results

The customer was very pleased with the results of our team. Our team had delivered the final results to the customer within the agreed deadline without sacrificing quality. Not only were they impressed with the profitability of the entire project with the CREO 4 software but also with the quality of the models we provided.
