The company was looking for a partner that could perform SolidWorks detailing for beauty studios. They needed a team with an experience in creating and converting AutoCAD files to Parasolid and STP formats, and could easily include the material details.

The Problems

The primary challenge associated with this work was taking their 2D file, and converting it into the required format. The original drawings were just an artist's rendering with some basic material specifications, and our team had to convert that to a fixture detail in SolidWorks.

To solve this problem, our team first received the material details from the client and also collected the previous season's details for reference. These not only included the material's details but also covered any plumbing or routing details that may be necessary.

The team carefully analyzed all the 2D versions and began detailing them into SolidWorks in 3D format. The team also created POM (Planograms) and Typesafe graphics to ensure quality.
