The Requirement

The customer was looking for a partner who could help them with high-quality portrait recovery services. The client would be scanning and sending the pictures and our team would be getting rid of scratches and dust from old portraits.

Project Challenges

Our photo editing had to face the following challenges during the execution of the project -

1. The customer wanted our team to remove all dust and scratches from portraits which were a huge challenge for us
2. The customer wanted our team to restore about 400 images a week

The Trial

The client originally chose a trial version of the project because they wanted to test our services and resources. For the test, we assigned a resource for portrait recovery. Our resource would work on the restoration of 5 frames and each of the frames would have 4 images.

Full-Term Contract

The customer was delighted and satisfied with our test project and chose to entrust us with the complete project. The client had about 10,000 images that had to be quickly recovered. Therefore, we allocated two resources for the project who provided 400 images per week to our customers. Our team member would spend approximately 12 minutes on each image.

The image was scanned and sent to us by the customer. Our resources used filters in Adobe Photoshop to remove dust and scratches from the image. The output file was created in PSD format and transferred to the client via Dropbox.

The Results
